What is Aerial Yoga
Aerial yoga, also called Anti-Gravity Yoga, is a new type of yoga that combines traditional yoga poses, Pilates and dance with the use of special hammocks. These hammocks are attached to the ceiling and help practitioners perform a variety of poses, most notably inverted poses and hip openers. The hammock facilitates bending and stretching of the whole body and decompresses the spine by using gravity to help extension.
