Akshi Yogashala, located in the peaceful spiritual community of Rishikesh, India, will be offering a 300 hour Yoga Teacher Training Scholarship program, running from the 5th March to 5th April, 2019 and 7th October to 6th November, 2019. Kindly subsidized by the Akshi foundation, the scholarship program provides the opportunity for those that are financially challenged or that are approaching yoga from an intellectual/research or non career oriented perspective to access high quality, comprehensive, Yoga Teacher Training.
During this intensive course you will be get given the deep knowledge of Hatha, Ashtanga, Pranayam, Meditation, Human Anatomy and Philosophy and much more.
The 300 hour YTT course will deepen and refine your understanding and experience of the science and philosophy of yoga gained from the completion of your 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training. Akshi Yogashala provides a traditional, holistic, healing perspective on yoga, providing confidence and a clear understanding of how to teach, and the ability to apply your knowledge to students of any description. Hatha and Ashtanga asana, meditation, pranayama, teaching methodology, yoga anatomy, yoga philosophy, mantra, adjustment and alignment and Ayurveda classes cover the wide ranging aspects of the yoga system. Our highly experienced teachers, trained in universities and ashrams, live in-house and can provide extra guidance for students in need.
